BIG NEWS!!!
#howshehustles is once again shining the spotlight on Canada’s diverse #women entrepreneurs with our 2nd Startup & Slay digital series. We’d want to hear about your #smallbusiness – or a company you know. Apply by July 31 at howshehustles.com.
We’re looking for entrepreneurs to share their inspiring stories about starting, sustaining and scaling their small businesses, despite uncertain economic times. It’s been a hard year for all of us, but there is hope! The entrepreneurs we select will be featured in our live video chat series and publicity campaign during #SmallBusinessMonth in October.
We’re specifically seeking stories from those who also identify as: Women of Colour, Indigenous, immigrants & refugees, 2SLGBTQ+ and persons with disabilities. We welcome applications from non-binary entrepreneurs while we work on a more gender inclusive framework for How She Hustles. We’ve got more #allyship work to do, and we’re committed to doing it. Stay tuned.
Thank you to our proud sponsor CIBC – it means so much to have your unwavering support for #startupandslay, especially during a global pandemic. You became our 1st corporate sponsor in 2018. Your ongoing commitment to our work with diverse women speaks volumes.
Thank you and welcome to our new media partner: Rogers Sports & Media! Their multimedia offerings include radio and TV stations across Canada that we all know like CityNews, Breakfast Television, Cityline, OMNI Television, 680 NEWS, 98.1 CHFI, KiSS, and more. Wow! Truly amazing to see #howshehustles mentioned across the country today through their efforts.
Last year, Startup & Slay featured amazing companies from British Columbia to Nova Scotia, from tech to fashion, and we can do it again! The companies we profiled said #startupandslay helped them increase sales, meet decision-makers, expand their networks, get invaluable media coverage, boost their confidence and more. It costs nothing to apply – just you taking a chance on a potential opportunity.
Apply now if you think this series is for you. Tell your people. Anywhere in Canada. Tag them below. So more of us can #startupandslay. To create a more inclusive narrative about business in Canada.
